Mimosa House, Ornos Beach, Mykonos
This is a Self-catered apartment. The owners have done their best to provide a web site depicting the building and surroundings and hopes that the clients enjoy themselves at this apartment. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children accepted on a twin bed settee.
2. TERMS OF PAYMENT
Visit the booking page and select the dates you wish to travel; pay a deposit (50%) online. An invoice will be sent to you confirming receipt of your deposit; a second invoice will be sent 6 weeks in advance. (The Owner reserves the right to refuse a booking upon receipt of the initial Booking, and in this very unlikely event, shall inform the client and return their 50% Deposit without delay).
3.1 All payments to be made via Bank Debit Card or Credit Card. Payment is passed through a Payments System Provider plus a secure card Verification process for Mastercard & Visa.
3.2 For all Credit / Debit Card bookings there will be no added charges by the owner.
3.3 Full payment to be made at least 6 to 8 weeks prior to the commencement date of your holiday quoting your invoice number. For bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of your holiday, the full amount must be made online at the time of making the booking.
3.4 All currency transactions for payment and damage return are in GB sterling and the rate of currency exchange will be that applied by the credit card company.
4.1 No refunds are payable in the event of the client cancelling their booking.
4.2 By the owner: In the unlikely event that, due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of ‘The Owner’, the apartment ceases to be available as booked, The Owner will refund to the Client all the money paid to ‘The Owner’ without delay and shall be under no other liability. The owner shall be entitled to cancel the booking, by written notice (or e-mail) to the client if the client is more then 5 days in arrears.
If the actions of any of your party cause damage to the accommodation that has been supplied to you, you must agree to fully indemnify the cost of the damage to the property owner. A Damage Deposit of 250 Euros is required in relation to damages, breakages, missing items or other services, and will be returned less any costs, within 4 weeks of your departure date. The damage deposit will be added to the final invoice.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that descriptions supplied are accurately reproduced, we cannot accept responsibility for errors contained therein or the results thereof. Minor differences between photographs and text and the actual property may arise. Information about the resort facilities are printed in good faith but we are unable to guarantee that all will be available at all times.
7. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Arrivals are flexible however if there is s mall clash of a few hours the agent will make arrangements to keep the suitcases. Please contact ‘The Agent’ if you are delayed in accordance with the guest arrival information; we cannot guarantee that keys will be available outside of the above times and you may have to find alternative accommodation at your expense and wait until the following day; if you have to cut short your holiday no refund can be made for the days unused.
8. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Only those persons named on the booking form may use the property. In the event that the maximum number of 5 adults allowed at the property is exceeded without prior agreement, the Owner reserves the right to refuse or revoke the booking at their sole discretion and no unused part of the holiday remaining will be refundable. ‘The Agent’ has the right to refuse entry to people not appearing on the booking form. The Client must keep the holiday accommodation in good condition and it must be left in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found; you must wash and put away all kitchen utensils before your departure. If you lose, break or damage anything in the accommodation you must advise ‘The Agent’.
9. OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY
The Owner shall not be responsible for the death or personal injury of the Client or any person named on the Booking Form or other person at the property. The Owner shall not be liable for any loss, breach or delay due to any cause beyond their reasonable control including though not limited to an act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war or threat of war, civil disturbance, acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental or local authority or industrial actions or disputes or adverse weather conditions, or force majeur reasons. The Owner cannot be held responsible for the breakdown of any piece of mechanical or electrical equipment, for example pumps, boilers, etc. nor for failure of public utilities such as water, gas and electricity. The Owner is not responsible for noise or disturbance originating beyond the boundaries of the holiday accommodation or which is beyond their control. No liability is accepted on the part of the owner for any loss, damage or theft of personal items, either within or beyond the boundaries of the holiday accommodation.
This contract in made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by English Law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of English Courts at all times.
Cleaning, Bed linen and towels will be provided at start and end of week plus fresh towels at mid-week. Bed Linen is provided for upto a maximum of 6 people. Any other extra services, replacement of keys, call out to the apartment if you lock yourself out are not included and will have to paid for locally to ‘The Agent’. Prices are quoted per property per day in Euros. This self-catered apartment is non-smoking throughout.
Please make yourself aware of the location of Fire Equipment: Living Room – Fire Extinguisher, Kitchen – smoke alarm & smoke blanket.
Please be aware that the bedroom on the mezzanine is not recommended for unsupervised children under 5 years of age.
Please do not take glasses near the pool and do not leave children unsupervised.

‘THE AGENT’ on site is a key-holder and provides cleaning, linen and meet and greet.
14. WEB SITE BOOKINGS via MYKONOSAPARTMENT.COM
The Bookings system uses a third party called ‘Holiday Bookings Online Ltd’ and this company will provide the automated invoice.
The Owner has been approved as a ‘Merchant’ and on this basis can directly accept Debit / Credit Cards within a full verification process.
